Anyways, we start off the month, with finishing up this year's steam season. This is also the last public tour from Steamrail for the year.
We head out for what should be a rather regular day with steam travelling along the Altona line, however this was quickly changed to the Werribee after an incident.
We end off the year with humble Y112 taking charge of another tour, with the assistance of K183.
This video is a little shorter than originally planned, as the running of the tour coincided with the opening of a new Melbourne train line, so our filming was split a little.
We're still keeping the flexible schedule for the next week or so. Catch everyone sooner or later.
Back for another week, and we return with our Victorian content from here on.
Today's video saw the return of the oldest operational steam locomotive in Victoria, Phoenix built Y112. Along with locomotive K153, they spent the day travelling across Melbourne for the first public Suburban Rambler since 2019 (based on our records).
We are back to flexible frequency for the next couple of videos, as we slowly begin winding down for the year.
Welcome to this weeks video. Today we slowly catch up on our little backlog with a video from last weekend. Steamrail ran their last Rail & Sail for 2025, with locomotive A2986.
We head out again to capture this occasion, as it has become rather routine.
Anyways. pretty normal video, with us ending off with the Bellarine Express arriving into Docklands.
Cheers all. A few more videos for the year. A further update on plans will be published next month on the community tab of the channel.
Time to finish off our final planned exhibition video for the year. This is part 2 of our coverage of this year's Sydney Great Train Show at the Rosehill Gardens. A bit of an edit from our last post, it's been found out that there were actually 89 stalls and not 99 as per the cumulative numbering had suggested, but the layout numbers were still correct so all good.
We capture another 15 layouts in this video, bringing our total to 27 layouts. A layout outside was missed, which would have brought it to 28.
This part captures a couple of layouts that I've never seen which is rather good.
Anyways. That's it for the larger videos for the year. Hopefully some unboxing videos to fill up the season in between exhibitions, but it'll be mainly heritage trains from here on. So hope everyone has enjoyed for the year of exhibitions. To tally up we captured 14 exhibitions this year, the most we've done to date. Next year, it is unlikely we'll go to as many, but we shall see.
Cheers all. Hope everyone has enjoyed the year, catch you all soon.
We're back with a trio of NSW videos, which should be the last grouped videos for the Over the Border playlist. Anyways, we returned for this year's Great Train Show at the Rosehill Gardens, which gathered 99 stalls of various model railway related activities. Unlike last year's video, we did manage to capture all but one of the operational layouts, which will be brought to you in two parts. Part one has 12 layouts with part two having 15.
Anyways, good to be back, a couple of new layouts this year, with a few previously seen layouts.
