EMDs Power to the Sea | Steamrail - Diesel Rail and Sail 2023 | S313, T3...

Howdy everyone,

Well, was running a little late tonight, but no matter. This puts to test our new flexible scheduling. Today we have the first of this year's rail and sails'. For the first time in a long time, Steamrail threw diesels at he helm of the service.
Our video covers a chase of both vessels, where pretty much half of the video covers the rail portions and half on the sail. Anyways, hope everyone enjoys.
Next week, there shouldn't be a video, as per our scheduling, it is technically fortnightly now.

Cheers all.

Time for our second and final part covering this year's Sandown Train and Hobby Exhibition.
This part covers the rest of model railway displays and some of the RC displays available, since our main focus on this channel is the model railways. Conclusively over the two videos, we cover 17 of the 19 operational model railway displays at the exhibition.
Hope everyone has enjoyed this year's coverage, we'll see if we get the chance to do again next year.
Cheers all.

Royal Train Shuttles in Warrnambool | SRHC - Warrnambool Royal Train Her...

G'day everyone,

We're back to our regular schedule. Today's video was supposed to be uploaded yesterday, but conflicting plans and unexpected events meant that it wasn't it wasn't going to be possible to have it completed. Today we travel to Warrnambool where the Seymour Railway Heritage Centre were running heritage shuttles with one of their royal train carriages. Three shuttles operated between Warrnambool and Boorcan. Since this is shuttles, we one again use public transport to travel around.
A first for any of our videos, components were recorded by a second person, this being SBX2000, who took control of the GoPro during the second shuttle to get a wallkthrough of the train. and a few other shots.
Next video should be the Monday of the Labour Day Long Weekend, and is a rather self-explanatory video. Anyways, cheers all, catch you then.

Evie Evaluation From Maryborough | EV120 Infrastructure Run Up the Weste...

G'day everyone,
Well, here we go, time for our last video for the holiday season. Today's video we have a chase video of Metro's newest IEV, EV120. On this day, they were operating a recording run from Maryborough with the pair of QUBE G class locomotives.
We follow the train from Maryborough to Melbourne.

Anyways, from the next week we will be trailing a new flexible scheduling, that was outlined on our anniversary video on the 11th of January. In short, this primarily is for heritage videos, so they can be uploaded within 24 hours of the conclusion of the tour. Other videos will still be uploaded on Mondays with second part videos uploaded on Thursdays. We will also be dropping down to a fortnightly uploading schedule when there is no recent video from one of our main categories.  Of course being a trail, this'll run until the end of June where we will decide if it'll be continued or reverted to our previous schedule.

Cheers all.

Final Days of Trains at Surrey Hills Station - Melbourne Trains

Howdy,
So back again, I admit that part of the reason why we didn't have extra videos for part two was the amount of work needed to upload, as here's the third video in 5 days.
Today we complete our look at the recent permanent station closures, this time focusing on Surrey Hills Station, both the older and newer of the pair. What do I mean about this? Well, the station was opened first in 1883, however the buildings were rebuilt in 1962, making the main significance being the platforms unlike the heritage listed Mont Albert Station.
Surrey Hills Station was closed in two stages. Firstly, DOWN trains ceased stopping on the 30th of January to allow the access to platform 3 to be demolished, then finally the rest of the station closure at just after 8:30PM on the 17th of February, 2023 finishing off the 139 years of serving the Surrey Hills community.

Anyways, one more video to go to complete this holiday season, so catch everyone again very soon.

Opening a Streamlined NSWGR C38 Class (3801) from Australian Railway Mod...

Howdy all,
Time for the first and only extra for this holiday season. Today we have part two of our unboxing of the ARM C38, 3801. Straight to the layout we go to see how she preforms. At this point I really do need to invest into some NSW carriages now that there are two NSW locomotives part of the fleet.

Anyways, two more videos left for this holiday schedule, then we return to our new scheduling for the year, as per outlined in our annual update videos from the 11th of Jan.

Cheers all.
