VR Blue & Gold Heads the Southern Aurora | St James Rail's 60 Years of t...

G'day all again,
Second week of our extras is now online.
Another heritage video that had been delayed due to a lack of space in the schedule, but it finally available for viewing. During the Anzac long weekend, St James Rail operated their 60th Anniversary of the Southern Aurora Rail Cruise. Departing Sydney Central during the night of the 23rd, the train travelled along the North East standard gauge mainline to Melbourne with stops at Goulburn to pick up P22, Albury and Violet Town.
The round trip would take 5 days for the passengers on board.
The occasion was also special, with the utilisation of Victorian locomotives S303, T357 and P22 from SRHC's SG fleet.
Another long video, and most likely wont be the last during this holiday season, so sit back and relax as we listen to the roots-blown engine roar to Melbourne.

Until next week, stay safe and stay well.
